Short study days

Short study days typically run from 09:30am-4:30pm, with breaks for morning coffee & biscuits, lunch and afternoon tea & cake.

The setting is clean and comfortable and conducive to productive learning and extended discussion. Thus, whilst the main content will be delivered by an experienced course tutor, it should not be a monologue; more an interactive forum for discussion around the taught material.

Support materials are provided, in the form of supplementary course notes in advance, accompanying study notes and slide lists, as well as recommended reading lists and gallery visits.

The short study days tend to take an aspect of a period or movement or an artist’s career, rather than taking on an entire period or oeuvre.
