As a form of corporate training with a difference, Arcadia Education run an exciting insight into Art Historical analysis in the form of an educative workshop. In an attempt to explore individuals’ aesthetic tastes, Arcadia endeavours to open up a dialogue between clients and Art. As an innovative mode of team building for corporate figureheads, Arcadia Education will impart systems for exploring and analysing art historical iconography; symbols and their meanings, at close-quarters and in a gallery setting. Once that methodology is imparted, it then becomes the task of the team to select artworks for their own analysis. In this way, the subjective and personal element begins to shine through, as team members air their preferences for and former experiences with art. Modes of presenting will be explored and prejudices set aside, as individuals are encouraged to explore the sensory perceptual area of their brain.
